  • How long will it take to make my first jump? For a tandem, plan to be here for at least half of the day. We could be on a temporary weather hold, which may delay us. So please feel free to bring food and beverage with you. Make a picnic out of it. Please, there is absolutely no alcohol allowed on the premises.
  • What should I wear? Wear anything appropriate for the weather. We will provide you with a jumpsuit and anything else required for your jump. For footwear: sneakers are best, so please, no boots or sandals.
  • Do the First Jump Courses go on if the weather is bad? Yes, for the Accelerated Freefall or the Instructor Assisted Deployment Courses. The five to six hour class to make your first jump is conducted in a classroom and is not affected by the weather. However, your jump or Tandem jump may be weathered out or put on a temporary hold.
  • Will the freefall feel like a roller coaster ride? Not at all, it will feel more like floating in mid air with a lot of air blowing up at you. You will not have a sensation of falling whatsoever. The parachute ride, however, will offer you a breathtaking view of the Kutztown area and a thrill you will never forget.
  • How long will the freefall last? For the Tandem or the Accelerated Freefall, the skydive will last for approximately 50 to 60 seconds. The higher we go, the longer we fall. You will also be falling at speeds over 120 MPH. The canopy ride lasts for a good four minutes before landing.

All students must be at least 18 years of age and in good health. Maximum weight limit; men 220 lbs, women 200 lbs.
